Location
Linyanti Tented Camp is situated in a private
concession to the east of King's Pool, close
to the western boundary of Chobe
National Park, in an area of the 125 000
hectare property which is unutilised. The
regions key feature is the Linyanti River
and marshes, complemented with the contrasting
dry woodlands inland. There are massive lagoons,
steadily flowing rivers and papyrus and phragmites
in the marshes. The riverine fringes are heavily
wooded which blends into dry countryside further
away from the river.

Attractions
This area is best known for its enormous herds
of elephants which move down to the Linyanti

arrive. Sable and Roan Antelope occur as well
as Lion, Leopard and Wild Dog. The marshes
are home to Red Lechwe, Sitatunga, Hippo,
Crocodiles and wonderful birdlife. And moving
along the fringes of the waterways, one can
see Kudu, Zebra, Buffalo, Waterbuck and Impala.
Facilities
The camp sleeps a maximum of eight guests
in five luxury tents, all with en-suite facilities.
The dining area and pub area are under canvas.
The camp has the rustic charm of an old~style
safari camp with a great atmosphere and feeling
of intimacy.
